A new tool box called “Just Neighbors” and produced by Family Promise is now available for your use.  It is a wonderful resource that is focused on motivating folks to take action in their places to end hunger.  The ELCA‘s Church in Society (in the person of Bob Sitze) has these $150 kits available at no cost to each synodical resource center that contacts him and explains how they will be used.  Be advised that this material will be highlighted at our next assembly and the participants will be directed to their synod resource centers to borrow the material.  Therefore I urge you to contact Bob at 800-638-3522 ext 2708 and ask for your tool kit, explaining that you are an Appalachian Synod and know that your ELCMA delegates will be asking to use it in their congregations and communities.  To learn more about this resource, you can contact either Bob Sitze or Dory Campbell at 724-463-8422.
